Pre-school

The
following is very important so please keep this letter pinned up
somewhere safe :
Key
persons System
Ongoing observations of your child are carried out by the staff to
ensure that he/she receives the support for their continued
development and learning. A list of staff and children is always on
the noticeboard, do not hesitate to talk to the staff member
responsible for your child at any time.
Collection
- If at anytime someone unfamiliar to the staff is picking up your
child, please remember to tell a member of staff and enter it in the
authorization book.
Donations
These are gratefully received at any time for the following -
Fruit, tissues, toilet rolls and biscuits. The children now have a
large selection of fruit daily.
Planning Notice board
There is a separate notice board in the pre-school lobby with our
weekly planning displayed please take a look and see what
activities lie in store!
PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO LOOK AT YOUR CHILDS ARTWORK AND ALL OUR
LOVELY PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH ARE DISPLAYED IN YOUR PRESCHOOL
Parent/Carer Participation
In order to further parent/carer involvement in the pre-school we
would really welcome anyone with a particular skill, interesting job
or talent, etc to come and talk to the children and share their
experiences/knowledge.
Primary School Gate
The school gate
is opened by us at 11.40 and 12.25 for a very short period to allow
pre-school access. Please be on time to collect and deliver your
child so that you do not have to disturb the school office.
Important Dates
Half term commences on Monday, 31st May with return to
school on Tuesday, 8th June. The last day of term is
Thursday, July 22nd (at 11.45) there is no afternoon
session on this day.
Building work for our new pre-school will commence at the start of
the summer holidays. A separate letter will be given to all parents
explaining the details and temporary arrangements nearer the time.
Sports Day
In July but date to be advised.
Odds Farm Park
Our summer trip will be on Friday, 25th June. More
details to follow on noticeboard.
If you have any queries, questions or complaints do not hesitate to

on the notice board.
