Welcome
to the summer term!
Theme
- the theme for this term is called “Let’s Play!” which will
encompass lots of outdoor play and planned activities including
parachute games, sand and water play, sports day practice, road
safety, “camping”, picnics and much, much more. The Planning is
displayed on the noticeboard.
The
following is very important so please keep this letter pinned up
somewhere safe :
Dates
for your diary
– Bank Holiday Monday, 5th May, Half Term is from Monday,
26th May to Friday, 30th May inc. The last day
of term is Wednesday, 23rd July and we return for autumn
term on Wednesday, 3rd September.
Eligibility Dates
– The eligibility dates for the Government Grant are always
displayed
on the Noticeboard. Please check these dates to see when you are
entitled to this.
Keyworker System
– Ongoing observations of your child are carried out by the staff to
ensure that he/she receives the support for their continued
development and learning. A list of staff and children is always on
the noticeboard, do not hesitate to talk to the staff member
responsible for your child at any time.
Summer Trip
– The summer trip will be to Odds Farm Park on Friday, 27th
June. The cost will be £22 for one adult and one child. Coach will
leave Henley at 09.30 and we will be back in time for normal
pick-up. More details on the door two weeks prior to trip.
Collection
- If at anytime someone unfamiliar to the staff is picking up your
child, please remember to tell a member of staff and enter it in the
authorization book.
Books - The
Book People drop books off to us regularly. The order form is always
with the books. PLEASE pay when you place an order.
Donations
– These are gratefully received at any time for the following -
Fruit, tissues, and biscuits.
Sports Day
– July (date to be arranged).
If you have any queries, questions or complaints do not hesitate to
speak to me, another member of staff, or committee, there is a list
of names on the notice board.
