Organisation
Trinity
Pre-school is a registered charity. It is managed by an elected
Committee of volunteers, generally made up by parents of children at
the Pre-school.
Pre-school staff are employed by the Committee. Supervisor Pip
Robinson is in charge of the day-to-day running of the Pre-school.
The
Committee reviews and updates policies adopted by the Pre-school,
copies of which are available on the noticeboard.
Another
important role of the Committee is fund-raising. Various events are
held throughout the year to raise money for books, toys and
equipment.
OFSTED & PLA
Trinity
Pre-school is OFSTED inspected. We are also a member of the
Pre-school Learning Alliance.
Clothing
Pre-school is fun but it can be messy! We do provide aprons and most
of the materials the children use at Pre-school will wash out, but
to avoid any tears we recommend that children wear appropriate
clothing.
If your
child is being potty-trained please provide some spare
nappies/clothes
in a named
bag.
Settling in
We
encourage parents to help their children settle in at Pre-school.
This may take several sessions so please don't worry. Also be
assured that all our staff are parents too – trust them, they know
what they're doing!
Snacks & donations
Squash,
water, biscuits or fruit are provided at snack time. Sometimes we
have food we have made in the session. Please advise the Pre-school
if your child has any food allergies or special requirements.
Our funds
are limited so we welcome any donations: biscuits, fruit, tissues,
toilet roll and bin liners. If it's Buy One Get One Free at the
supermarket, think Pre-school!
Security
Please
let a member of staff know if someone other than your child's usual
parent/carer is collecting your child from Pre-school.
Illness and holidays
If your
child is unwell please don't bring them to Pre-school, not least
because they won't enjoy themselves! Please telephone the Pre-school
at the earliest opportunity to let us know they will not be
attending.
Out of
courtesy we would appreciate it if you could inform us of any
term-time holidays you may take.
