Trinity Pre-school sessions are planned in accordance with national curriculum guidelines.

 

Curriculum

Children's learning and development is divided into six areas

  • Personal, social and emotional development

  • Communication language and literacy development

  • Mathematical development

  • Knowledge and understanding of the world

  • Physical development

  • Creative development

Planning at Trinity Pre-school is based on themes and details of the plan for each term is placed on the notice board.  Examples include: nursery rhymes; myself and where we live.

 

Keyworker System

Staff members are responsible for observing individual children and completing a tick-list of various skills. A list of staff and children is always on the noticeboard, do not hesitate to talk to the staff member responsible for your child at any time.

Remember, all staff at Trinity Pre-school are there to encourage, help, play and have fun with all children.

 

Assessment

Trinity Pre-school keeps a record of achievement for each child to celebrate his or her development and progress.
